How does Travel Safe Tagging work?
Each Travel Safe Tag has its own unique 15 digit serial number which enables items tagged to be linked to its owner via our secure database. Member's personal and contact details are stored on the database where they can be updated online at any time.
How much does a Travel Safe Tag cost and what is included?
The cost is highlighted on our product page. This includes:
- One tag plus secure fastening attachment / key ring.
- Lifetime membership
- Full instructions
- Delivery will be within 7-14 days and packs are sent by post. (Overseas postage will incur an additional cost ).
What is the size of the Travel Safe Tag?
Travel Safe Tags for luggage are made from flexible plastic card and come complete with a secure fastening strap. Our range of tags are available in various sizes. Full details can be found on our product page.
Can I use my Travel Safe Tags more than once?
Yes when registered.
Will my credit / debit card details be safe?
Travel Safe Tagging uses World Pay which is a fast, easy and secure online payment method and is the most popular payment system on the internet.
How safe will my personal information be?
Travel Safe Tagging is registered under the Data Protection Act. We will only use your information for the sole purpose of identifying items which have been reported to us as lost in order to contact you and notify you that they have been found.
Why not just write my name and address on my luggage labels / belongings?
For security reasons you are strongly recommended not to openly disclose your personal details due to Identity Fraud. Do you really want other travellers / members of the public to know who you are, where you are going and how long you will be away for?
I don't like ordering online, how else can I order a Travel Safe Tag?
You can simply contact Travel Safe Tagging by email at sales@travelsafetagging.co.uk or by phone on 0845 2340370 or fax on 0845 2340370.
If my tagged item is found can they view my personal details?
No. If an item is found Travel Safe Tagging must be contacted by email, phone or fax with the unique 15 digit reference number given. Travel Safe Tagging will then check the details and contact you on your preferred contact number given.
What happens if I lose my luggage or tagged belongings?
You can login and report your item as lost. If it has been found Travel Safe Tagging will contact you as detailed above.
What happens if I lose my Tag or Sticker?
Unfortunately Travel Safe Tagging cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of any Tags or stickers. In the event of loss or damage you must re-purchase a Tag or Sticker.
I've found an item that has a Travel Safe Tag, how do I report it?
Go to the found section of our website and enter the 15 digit reference number and your contact details. Travel Safe Tagging will then contact you.
I've found an item, will I get a reward?
The owner of the item may wish to reward you; however this is entirely at their discretion.
Do I still need travel insurance?
Yes, you are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance.
